A good day for rap, as Marshall Mathers makes a comeback on his strongest track in about a half decade, while 2 Chains throws up a nostalgic homage to the best southern rap crew ever. “Rap God” is just that: Eminem staking his claim to the crown with a series of throwback versus that makes you wonder what the hell he’s been doing for the past 8 years (rough guess: pills). The track will be on The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which drops on November 5. Meanwhile, across the Mason Dixon line, 2 Chains calls in the the original Cash Money clique to celebrate his Juvenile-aping “Used 2?. Featuring appearances by the great Mannie Fresh as well as Lil’ Wayne, Turk and of course Juvenile, the only question left is where’s Baby?
